GIG LIFE
by the world is a beautiful place and i am no longer afraid to die
from the album 'whenever, if ever'
tabbed by drew (iamdrew@gmail.com)
this is a great song. without a doubt it's the bass that makes it
so i've tried to make the chords follow the bassline somewhere. i've
tried to choose voicings that make it sound best on acoustic. as ever,
your milage may vary but
also, i've only written up the chords for the parts with words. the
interlude jams quite a bit in the key of e - the chords shouldn't be
too tricky to pick out.

Some bits sound quite off. The guitarist told me it was capo on 2 aswell, and with the videos of thom playing it he has that capo.

Lack of accuracy. A good starting point. Would also appreciate having the parts tagged ex. Chorus, Verse, Pre-chorus
Overall, a good attempt with some polish could be a fantastic resource.

B/E I Believe not B, and the chorus i think is just the same, i may be wrong but it works, not too bad, capo would work i guess, put it on the 2nd fret and only cover the top 5 strings, same chords and key different shapes, also rather than power chords, play the 5 chords on the higher three strings (Different shapes) it sounds cleaner and more like the record

G-----9-------8------6-------------
And the solo-y stuff is in Db(C#) minor, mostly repeats, i could tab it if someone wants it but it's more fun to improvise, if you want it just comment on the tab and say so, i'd be happy to do it, but i don't feel it's needed.
