The Visitor Tab

This fantastic song about one of the most famous lifeboat rescues in history can
be found on The Willows 2014 album 'Amidst Fiery Skies'.

If you'd just like to strum along to either of the above versions, scroll down
to the bottom and I've written out some simplified chord shapes which can all
be played down the neck without barres and still sound great.
 
Given the chord shapes you can see the guitarist playing in the live version,
I'm convinced the main guitar part is in an altered tuning of some kind, which
is why this is not a note for note transcription, however, even if I do say so
myself, it works really well in standard tuning and I've tried to capture some
of the melody played by the fiddle and sung in the vocal line.

I've tried to give an indication as to the strumming pattern but as always, it's
never an exact science, particularly where you have muted strings driving the
rhythm.

You can play the second verse exactly the same as the first and it will fit
perfectly, however, I like to play the beginning and end sections, where you're
picking out the melody line, with a slightly looser feel the second time around,
adding in a couple of extra strums and maybe catching two strings instead of one.

On playing the chorus for the third time, the main body is played exactly as
before, however, on reaching the "...never said die..." section at the end, it
changes dramatically becoming much softer and goes into a kind of middle eight.
