It opens on a C chord, and it walks
down to a to a C with a B bass note,
and then to an open a string with an
A-minor chord. You hit the the A-string
once and pick downward in whatever way
feels right. But the important thing is
the walk-down of the C bass note, to the
B, to the open A. Got it?

[Verse 1]
C C/B Am
Just because I don't say anything
F G Am
Doesn't mean I don't like you
C C/B Am
I opened my mouth and I tried and I tried
F G Am
But no words came out

C C/B Am
Without 40 ounces of social skills
            F G Am
I'm just an ass in the crack of humanity
F G Am
I'm just a huge manatee
F G Am
     A huge manatee

[Chorus]
Am C G
And besides you're probably holding hands
          F C G
With some skinny pretty girl that likes to talk about bands and
Am C G
All I wanna do is ride bikes with you
    F C G
And stay up late and watch cartoons

(Piccolo part)
C C/B Am
F G Am

C C/B Am F G Am
Duck Tales, shirt tails, Talespin, Sailor Moon, GI Joe, Robotech, Ron Jeremy, Schmoo

[Verse 2]
C C/B Am
I wanna watch cartoons with you.
F G Am
Josie and the Pussycats and Scooby Doo,
C C/B Am
I want you to watch cartoons with me.
F G Am
He-man, Voltron and Hong-Kong-Fui...

C C/B Am
I tried to ask you to your face
F G Am
But no words came out.
C C/B Am
I put on my hood and walked away,
F G Am
That doesn't mean I don't like you.

[Chorus]
      Am C G
And besides you're probably holding hands
          F C G
With some skinny pretty girl that likes to talk about bands and
Am C G
All I wanna do is ride bikes with you
    F C G
And stay up late and maybe spoon

[Verse 3]

[Chorus]
      Am C G
And besides you're probably holding hands
          F C G
With some skinny pretty girl that likes to talk about bands and
Am C G
All I wanna do is ride bikes with you

       F G C
...I'm just your average Thundercats Hooooooooooo!

If you want you can also play it in the key of G.
Instead of playing C, down to C/B to Aminor, you
can start on a G, and walk the low E-String down
to an F#, and then play an Eminor instead of an
A minor. Then instead of F, G, Am, it would be C, D, Em. Cool?

That's it. I love this song, and I was shocked to
find that there are no tabs for it anywhere. So
here you go. If you want to hear my music go to
Myspace.com/redseamen or just search for Love the Innocent.

Great tab! Thanks Intro e:|------------------------ B:|------------------------ G:|----------------------0- D:|----------0----0h2------ A:|---0h2------------------ E:|------------------------ I think there is a "C" played in the chorus. He kind of flashes to it for half a measure before ending on the G. It fits with the bouncy bassline going on through the song Am C G And besides you're probably holding hands F C G With some skinny pretty girl that likes to talk about bands

If you're feeling funky you can play an A after the F, and G Barre chrods, instead of an A minor. If you can sing and play that, it sounds very funky, but i adore it very much. And yes i know it is out of key. Sounds great anyways.
