I'm sorry, but this tab has been horrendously presented. You've done a decent enough job but it's very hard to follow the way you've tried to show bars, and it is way too easy to get lost what with absolutely no attempt to present in any sort of verse/chorus/bridge format - not to mention only a few words from each line and the whole thing presented as one big stanza, if you like. I would say I appreciate the effort you put in but the only bits which aren't fairly basic to transcribe are the diminished chords so it couldn't even have taken you very long. If you're going to put something in the public domain, take some pride in your work and don't leave it half-arsed.

Also, in the 'you really should know' part (I would probably call it a pre-chorus given how it transitions into what I would call the chorus, after what I would call the second verse), I play an Amaj7 with the e string 4th fret. I also play the subsequent E chord with this G# as the highest note (E in an open C shape). It adds to the tension by leaving that note in, as it 'wants' to move up a fret to the subdomninant.
