Pretty much the way I learned (and forgotten) it years ago, just starting out. I learned the G to C as 30003 to 302013, still think that has a nice ring, emphasizing more only downstrokes on the G and hitting the C a bit harder on the upstrokes. My 2 bits.

It is just " I'm much obliged indeed" and it is written and played in open G tuning
