I think its actually played like this: B|------8-----7--- G|------8-----7--- E|---88---88------ And you forgot the bends at the beginning.

i like to play it like this [tab] G x x 5 x x 4 D x x 5 x x 5 A x x 3 x x 3 E [/tab] and the chorus i just play it like a major G chord (with four fingers) and an octave power chord i think D# [tab] [/tab]
