If you want to play along with the original recording put the capo on the first fret and you should be aye-okay!

not quite folks... This business of C* - which, by your notation, is a CMaj7 - is not accurate. Mostly straight chords with some sustained Eb's through the verse. The song is a capo'd at the first fret. The chorus is: Am / C / G / D
