Can you clarify the strum pattern for the verse and Bridges? When I'm playing it with the song I seem to be slightly off and I can't figure out specifically how they are changing it

Hey, in the first verse “we were born splaying in the wreckage” I hear just two chords being played but I could be wrong. First chord is Em with the B string held down on the 3rd fret from capo, then G (E-3rd fret, A-2nd, B-3rd). Then when it reaches “I don’t think quite like I used to” I take my finger off the B string and play Em, C (E-3rd, A-3rd, D-2nd), then G (E-3rd, A-2nd) and hold the G for the duration that you would normally play the D. It sounds right when I sing it. If I play that verse how it’s written on here then the vocals don’t sound correct. Hope this helps some of you. Thank you for the tab, great work. Was very excited when I found this. The D you have on here (E-2nd, D-4th) sounds perfect. I would’ve had a hard time figuring out exactly what chord he was playing there so thank you.

I found it easier to play the chords as the riff in the beginning rather than the actual chords // Em = the first part of the riff, C = the second, G = the third, D = the fourth part. ((it sounds more like the original as well))
