[verse #1]
D A/D
 Take that look of worry
       C/D G/D
I'm an ordinary man
D A/D
  They don't tell me nothing
     C/D G/D
So I find out what I can
D A/D
  There's a fire that's been burning
C/D G/D
Right outside my door
D A/D
  I can't see but I feel it
       C/D G/D
And it helps to keep me warm
   Gadd9/D G/D D
So I, I don't mind
   Gadd9/D G/D D
No I, I don't mind

[verse #2]
D A/D
Seems so long I've been waiting
C/D G/D
Still don't know what for
D A/D
  There's no point es caping
        C/D G/D
I don't worry anymore
D A/D
I can't come out to find you
        C/D G/D
I don?t like to go outside
D A/D
They can't turn off my feelings
             C/D G/D
Like they're turning off a light
    Gadd9/D G/D D
But I, I don't mind
    Gadd9/D G/D D
No I, I don't mind
    Gadd9/D C/D D
Oh I, I don't mind

Great chords! Thank you for keeping the D droning below the A&C&G! Well done! 😎

I keep my 12-string with double drop d tuning and with slight adjustments to the fingering your chord progression sounds really cool. Can't strum too hard or it gets muddy, but when you get it right, wow. I've played along with live recordings and I don't think it would work with a full band, but it does work solo.
