We've been together since way back when
Sometimes I never want to see you again
      A B
But I want you to know, after all these years
A B
You're still the one I want whisperin' in my ear

[Chorus]
       E A
You're still the one I want to talk to in bed
C#m F#
Still the one that turns my head
A B E
We're still having fun, and you're still the one

I looked at your face every day

But I never saw it 'til I went away
     A B
When winter came, I just wanted to go (wanted to go)
A B
Deep in the desert, I longed for the snow

[Chorus]

There is no law saying you must play it exactly as it was played on the album. As for the Bridge, I play E - F# - D - A - B then back to E for the chorus. I’ve also used an F#7 in both the bridge and chorus. It’s always a little difficult to know exactly what a guitar is doing when you have several instruments playing along with vocals which can trick the year into believing it’s a little more complex than it actually is. I remember early on and playing, my first impulse was to play the chord that matched the vocal note, when in fact, the vocal was at the perfect fifth of the chord. When I realized that, it made it much easier to figure out songs. That said, when you see something that is obviously wrong, say it in a nice way so it will be corrected. I appreciate greatly the time and effort so many people have taken to upload these tabs, chords, etc. A lot of times, I see people post something that is just in a different key, and they take heat on it. They have a transpose function for people who aren’t able to do it in their head, and for those who want to play the exact match to the record, often times, they have to use a capo to get the right voicings.
