Climb Over Cifras

Phil Elverum has said that he doesn't use alternate tunings, so based upon that
and the chord voicings you hear him using, I believe he plays it without a capo,
in the key of A, but Capo 2 makes it much simpler to work in the melody, so
that's the way I've written it here. You can also transpose +2 to play the Phil
way, if you so desire, but use standard chord shapes in that case.
 
The intro is a "false start", starting on the Em/vi chord; I'd just play
the verse chord progression once through if I was playing this song for
anything, but I've tabbed it as played on the recording
 
The melody that runs throughout the song is tabbed below, with the x's
representing the root note, and later strums, of the chords that get played on
the upbeats, interweaving throughout the melody. He doesn't play these in the
beginning, but gradually works them in as the song builds. Enjoy!
