They’ll never care about you while you’re old and in the way

This song, Old and In the Way, from the album of the same name, was recorded live at The Boardinghouse in San Francisco in 1974. The song is credited to David Grisman.
A great song, it is not"Traditional".

The progression is basically correct except that you should not change to the “C” in the last line of both the verse and the chorus until the word “old”. Otherwise good job.
