The intro was a bit wrong (only a bit) so here is my hopefully right version. Zlash, the drop-D tuning is necessary because the way you've done it doesn't flow as well. The bass sound is suppost to progress down. The way you've done it takes it down, down and then up. It's still the same note, but it sounds much nicer when it's the drop tuning.
