Notes: This MC song is an absolute beast in Open D Tuning (D-A-D-F#-A-D), with a capo on the 1st fret.
Because this song is basically a collection of stellar riffs and a variety of 2 and 3 note shapes on the low
strings, it's difficult to give these chords proper names as some chords are merely implied, but I've done my
best. Due it's complexity, the front of the song is loaded with all the specific chords needed, as
well as tabs for the key riffs. Because of this, there's a lot to remember, but I hope this breakdown will be
useful for others taking a stab at this fantastic tune.
Notes for the Verse: Madison consistently hits the open 4th string (D) with the first two chords) but
sprinkles it in here and there rather than strumming it outright like the other two notes.
Notes for the Chorus: the first two chords would be most accurately notated as A7(no3rd) and A6(no3rd), but UG
doesn't recognize these symbols properly, so I've changed them to A7 and A6 respectively.
