Couldn't find chords for this song anywhere so I gave it a try. It is by no means perfect, but it will
do the job if you want to sing the song and play some chords that sound decent. If anybody has
suggestions on what they think sounds better, please let me know and I will update. Kreg seems to use
goofy tunings, but I made this in standard so it stays simple. Enjoy!

VERSE 1:
     G
Your guitar's hanging on the wall
     D
In a hole in Aberdeen
         C
With the dancing shoes and the brakeman's blues
        F C
And the dirty magazines
     G
I've heard that thing a thousand times
       D
By the glow of kerosene
      C
And I guess I heard you gave it up
        F C
For the sake of coming clean

CHORUS:
G D
Sorrow, ain't it sorrow
         F C
Ain't is something, ain't it slow
G D
From the getting up that mighty high
       F C
To the winding up that low
G D
Sorrow, ain't it sorrow,
         F C
Ain't it something ain't it slow
    G
You leave a trail
   D
Of harm and hail
F C
Everywhere you go

VERSE 2:
    G
The steel wires stretch across the place
         D
And they cut it all apart
          C
Where the worthless words of the wagging tongues
     F C
They cut you to the heart
  G
I always knew the steel was cold
      D
And I figured it was sharp
        C
Now the steel strings keep me tethered to
    F C
The highway and the harp

CHORUS:
G D
Sorrow, ain't it sorrow
         F C
Ain't is something, ain't it slow
G D
From the getting up that mighty high
       F C
To the winding up that low
G D
Sorrow, ain't it sorrow,
         F C
Ain't it something ain't it slow
    G
You leave a trail
   D
Of harm and hail
F C
Everywhere you go
F C
Everywhere you go

INTERLUDE:
 D C G
they're going to put you in the paper
D C G
if you're too small for the screen
   F C
they'll ride you blue
   F C
and when they're through
   F C
gonna turn you into glue
D
anyway

VERSE 3:
        G
If your I's are always troubled
         D
And your T's are double-crossed
C
The buzzards bound to claim he found
  F C
A man that wasn't lost
       G
You'll find me here this time, next year
       D
If I'm anywhere at all
      C
Down in the birl, the swine and pearls
    F C
The girls and alcohol

CHORUS:
G D
Sorrow, ain't it sorrow
         F C
Ain't is something, ain't it slow
G D
From the getting up that mighty high
       F C
To the winding up that low
G D
Sorrow, ain't it sorrow,
         F C
Ain't it something ain't it slow
    G
You leave a trail
   D
Of harm and hail
F C
Everywhere you go
F C
Everywhere you go
