[Intro]
G D Am C

[Verse 1]
           G               C
You're the Word of God the Father
       G                D
From before the world began.
      C              G
Ev'ry star and ev'ry planet
         Am                C
Has been fashioned by Your hand.
       G             C
All creation holds together
       G             D
By the power of Your voice.
        C                  G
Let the skies declare Your glory;
        Am              D
Let the land and seas rejoice!

[Chorus]
           C            G
You're the Author of creation;
           C             Em
You're the Lord of ev'ry man;
         C                 G    D         G
And Your cry of love rings out across the lands.

[Verse 2]
        G                C
Yet You left the gaze of angels,
        G                 D
Came to seek and save the lost,
      C                  G
And exchanged the joy of heaven
        Am           C
For the anguish of a cross.
       G                  C
With a prayer You fed the hungry;
       G                   D
With a word You calmed the sea;
        C            G
Yet how silently You suffered
         Am            D
That the guilty may go free!

[Chorus]
           C            G
You're the Author of creation;
           C             Em
You're the Lord of ev'ry man;
         C                 G    D         G
And Your cry of love rings out across the lands.

[Verse 3]
       G                 C
With a shout You rose victorious,
         G                D
Wresting vict'ry from the grave,
     C            G
And ascended into heaven,
        Am               C
Leading captives in Your way.
        G                C
Now You stand before the Father,
     G               D
Interceding for Your own;
          C                    G
From each tribe and tongue and nation,
        Am              D
You are leading sinners home!

[Chorus]
           C            G
You're the Author of creation;
           C             Em
You're the Lord of ev'ry man;
         C                 G    D         G
And Your cry of love rings out across the lands.
           C            G
You're the Author of creation;
           C             Em
You're the Lord of ev'ry man;
         C                 G    D         G
And Your cry of love rings out across the lands.

From original post - has wrong chords, the Em should be Am in the first verse, again, playing an Em here should have told you something was wrong with it! From first comment - There is no minor chord (Em) on the word 'began' or the word voice in the first verse, it doesn't even sound right at all?
