Hi, I believe you get very close to the original version, only one chord should be changed to become, what sounds to me, as the original version. With capo 5th fret your: G (5th) = C (no capo) Bm (5th) = Em (no capo) A = D (no capo) D = G (no capo) So you are saying he plays C, Em, D, G which can easily be played without capo so you can hit your: 'D-G-B-e' snares instead of your 'A-D-G-B' snares and not hitting your 'e' snare. However, I think he plays C, Em, Dadd11, G giving that D chord a slight different touch. Ofcourse he doesn't play the regular chords. C = normal Em = normal + e(3) Dadd11 = normal (D-G open + B(3) + e(2)) G = D-G-B open + e(7) so simply just hold 7th fret on e-snare and hit lowest 4 snares. If you want to keep playing capo on 5th, just replace the A for an Dmaj7sus2, which basically means, let go of your highest finger on A (: Give it a try without capo. I'm curious about your opinion. Cheers!
