[Verse 1]
G D C D C
So you just stepped out of the front of my house and I'll never see you again.
G D C D C
I closed my eyes for a second and when they opened you weren't there.
G D C D C
And the door shut shut I was vacuum-packed, shrink-wrapped out of air
G D C D C
And the spine collapsed and the eyes rolled back to stare at my starving brain,
[Chorus 1]
D G C
And fully clothed, I float away (I'll float away)
D G C
Down the Forth, into the sea
C
I think I'll save suicide for another day.
[Post-chorus]
G D C D C
G D C D C
[Verse 2]
G D C D C
And I picture this corpse on the M8 hearse and I half run away to sleep
G D C D C
On a rolled up coat against the window with the strobe of the sun and the life I've led
G D C D C
Am I ready to leap is there peace beneath the roar of the Forth Road Bridge?
G D C D C
On the northern side there's a Fife of mine and a boat in the port for me,
[Chorus 2]
D G C
And fully clothed, I float away (I'll float away)
D G C
Down the Forth, into the sea
D G C
I'll steer myself through choppy waves
D G C
These manic gulls scream it's okay
D G C
Take your life give it a shake
D G C
Gather up all your loose change
C
I think I'll save suicide for another year.
[Outro]

I agree that the key is B. But I don't think it's capo'ed 4th fret, I think there's no capo. And the chords are B, F#-E-F#-E, B. The Intro sounds like it's played up the fret board, yes, but the notes here don't sound right (they fit with the key of G instead). I think it shd be that you finger a B and Bsus4 chord, using a barred E chord at the 7th fret. Then pick those notes in the right pattern, This is all according the the YouTube version at least.
