Ok, so this version of Blame It On Cain is at the end of my copy of My Aim Is True. I
been able to find any tabs of it online so here we are.
Elvis Costello plays this version on a single acoustic guitar with a capo on the 3rd
The chord names that I wrote above the lyrics are the chord names WITHOUT a capo, so with
capo on the 3rd fret, just form those regular chords.
The lyrics for this version are also a little different than the full-band version of
It On Cain. Hope someone finds this useful.

B C B
But you are the only one
Should be
G C G
But you are the only one
No B in this song. Substitute B for G and it is good.

This is almost exactly the same as the tab by Mark MacDonald. It was very close. To do the D then Dsus2 and D7 then Am/D you just play D or D7 and then lift your finger off the high E string and let it jangle a little. You can clearly hear it in the original recording. This tab is pretty close to 100% correct. A thing of rare beauty on the interweb. Love this song. Enjoy.
