Tab By Philliam

I absolutely love this song and I was annoyed to find there were no tabs made
that I thought were accurate enough to use. So I decided to make my own :).
Now im pretty sure its almost dead accurate except for maybe some of the
picking, but its good enough. E-mail me if something is wrong and ill change
it, or just to comment. Enjoy

This tab is played through the intro and the first verse but I’ve put the

Excellent tab! It's got everything you need to make it sound the way you want it to. Thanks a bunch for taking the time to post this. :)

Hey man thanks for the tabs! I would just add: to make those rhythm notes really ring out like the recording, try something like this :
e-----------------|------------------------|-------------------
b----------3------|---------3-0------------|--
g--0-0---0-0------|--0-0-0--0-0------------|-- and so on...
d--0-0h2h0-0------|--0-2-0--0-0------------|-0
a----------0------|---------0-0------------|--
e-3-3------0-0-0h2|-3-3-3-3-x-0-0-0-0h2-h3-|-3
He's doing a lot of alternating picking, which means it sounds best if the chords are plucked with individual fingers. But you did the hard part! Thanks a lot. Colbie is my favorite and this is probably her best!

Chords during Jason's verse forward: it should be Cadd9 (hammer on the e(2)) Dsus and then e7 (hammering on the bflat(2)) Also, all of the E chords should be Em. Tricky to get the hammer on rhythm while strumming hunh? Freedom rider: Gsus just means on the high e string, the pinky is holding the g(3) note down and the index is holding the adjacent d(3) note. Using this shape will let you move between Cadd9 or Csusadd9 faster. It sounds pretty much the same as C and G.
