you want to sing the old lyrics, this should work for you.
 
For the first riff, hold the index finger on the B string first fret and hammer on and pull off the middle 
and
ring fingers. The trick is the pick control and timing in the right hand. Slide the ring finger to fret four
and back to two, then pluck the B string first fret to grab the other note that is higher. For the second
verse riff, use chromatics on the D string open, 1 and 2 fret, grab the note on the first fret of the B
string, and then it is hammer ons and pull offs on the G and D strings during the Em chord.
