To play it the way Carrie does, alternate between picking the C string and the E and A strings :)

        C F G
I think I knew the sky was blue before you,
        C G
I think I knew my ABC so well,
        C F Am
And I was sure I knew before that I wasn’t gonna fall,
        F G C
But now I’m not sure of anything at all

        C F G
I think I knew what shoes to wear on Sundays,
        C G
I think I liked the taste of lemonade,
        C F Am
I think that I believed you when you said you’d call,
        F G C
But now I’m not sure of anything at all

        Am
I’m not saying that I’m stupid,
        F G
I won’t say the word naive,
        C F Am F G
But when caught up in the moment I think I’d like to believe

        C F G
That even though I knew that you were trouble,
        C G
And even though I wasn’t supposed to fall,
        C F Am
At least I know that I am sure of just one thing,
        F G C
I’m so very glad that I’m not sure at all

Hi! I just wanted to ask (I'm new to playing the uke) the F and Am that I currently know are (F) 2010 and (Am) 2000 -- but if just plucking the C, E & A strings, how are they actually supposed to be played since part of the chord is on G? Sorry if this is a silly question!
