i needed to sing in a step down from the versions i saw in G.
the F#m is played with the B and e strings open.
there are a few walk-ups and downs on the last line of each verse, that you can fit in with a little
practice.
this is my first submission, hope it works for you.

When The Ship Comes In – B. Dylan
       D F#m
Oh the time will come up
         G D
When the winds will stop
        Bm G D
And the breeze will cease to be breathin'.
         D F#m
Like the stillness in the wind
           G D
Before the hurricane begins,
    D A D
The hour that the ship comes in.
        F#m G D
And the sea will split And the ship will hit
        F#m G D
And the sands on the shoreline will be shaking.
         D F#m
Then the tide will sound
        G D
And the waves will pound
        D G A D
And the morning will be a-brea --- king.

       D F#m G D
Oh the fishes will laugh as they swim out of the path
        Bm G D
And the seagulls will be a-smilin'
        D F#m G D
And the rocks on the sand will proudly stand
    D A D
The hour that the ship comes in.
        F#m G D
And the words that are used for to get the ship confused
     F#m G D
Will not be understood as they're spoken
       D F#m G D
Oh the chains of the sea will have busted in the night
       D G A D
And be buried on the bottom of the o --- cean

  D F#m G D
A song will lift as the main sail shifts
        Bm G D
And the boat drifts unto the shoreline
        D F#m G D
And the sun will respect every face on the deck
     D A D
The hour that the ship comes in.
        F#m G D
And the sands will roll out a carpet of gold
         F#m G D
For your wearied toes to be a-touchin'
                    F#m G D
And the ship's wise men will remind you once again
         D G A D
That the whole wide world is wa----tchin'

       D F#m G D
Oh the foes will rise with the sleep still in their eyes
            Bm G D
And they'll jerk from their beds and think they're dreamin'
            D F#m
But they'll pinch themselves and squeal
            G D
And they'll know that it's for real,
    D A D
The hour that the ship comes in.
            F#m
And they'll raise their hands
             G D
Sayin' we'll meet all your demands
          F#m G D
But we'll shout from the bow Your days are numbered
         D F#m G D
And like Pharoah's tribe they'll be drowned in the tide
         D G A D
And like Goliath they'll be con---quered

What do you mean, B and e-strings open? 2-4-4-2-0-0 ? Would be F#m11 then. Does not sound right to my ears.
