NOTES: Like my other Willie McTell post
Dyin' Crapshooter Blues, this was recorded
in a VERY lowered tuning. In this case I
believe standard starting at a low C, and
then using a C chord form as the tonic.
These lowered tunings require extra heavy
strings and the right 12 string guitar and
are just not something everybody is going
to work with, myself included. If you can
do that however, transpose this chart to
C and go for it! Otherwise, I found that
you can play with the record and get all
the notes using drop D and capo 1 in "E".
The form he uses is ragged, interlude 1
can go after about any verse, or not!
The Asus is not written as a sus2 or
sus4 because it can be either or both.
At times he hammers on and off the D
to E on the 4th string. It goes by quick
though so if you don't feel it you can
just leave it out no problem but I do
hear him do something along that line.
