I put a capo on fret 3 and I think this version is as close as I could get without finger style, also it's my first tab so feel free to edit if something's not right :).Esta informação foi útil?

[Verse 1]
G
Well, it all began in the back of her car
D/F# Em C
I was just sixteen, but I fell so hard
G
Well, the years went by and she held my heart
D/F# Em C
But her love ran dry and we fell apart
[Pre-Chorus]
D Em
I felt her growing distant
C
I knew her love was shifting
And all that I could say was
[Chorus]
G
Don't tell me that it's over, the book
of you and I
D/F# Em
Now you've scribbled out my name
And you've erased my favorite lines
C C/B
There were so many chapters that we never got to write
Am D
Like cereal for dinner and staying up all night
G
I remember where we started, I remember how you looked
D/F# Em
But now I'm missing bits and pieces from the pages that you took
C C/B
You didn't give a reason, and I'll forever wonder why
Am D G
We never got to finish the book of you and I
[Verse 2]
G
Well, I bought a pen and I turned the page
D/F# Em C
Then I wrote about how I wish you'd stayed
G
I said all the things that I never got to say
D/F# Em C
Maybe when it's done I will feel okay
[Pre-Chorus]
D Em
But she had grown so distant
C
And that her love had shifted
I wish she felt the same
[Chorus]
G
Don't tell me that it's over, the book of you and I
C C/B
You never gave a reason, and I'll forever wonder why
Am D G
We never got to finish the book of you and I
[Bridge]
G
Don't tell me, tell me that you're leaving D/F#
Em C
My belly hurts and my heart is hardly beating right
D
I hate to beg but I'll try one last time
[Chorus]
G
Don't tell me that it's over, the book of you and I
C C/B
You never gave a reason, and I'll forever wonder why
Am D G
We never got to finish the book of you and I

There's actually an Am or Am7 (for more fonk) after the C in the chorus. It makes more sense with the descending base line.

There's some issues in the first Chorus. The chords aren't typed correctly and I dont think 'E' not 'Em'work.
