[Verse 1]
          G D
I've been shattered and broken, for most of my life
         Em7 Csus2
But I've done pretty good, with a job and a wife
      G D
Got a family that loves me and a good piece of land
       Em7 Csus2
That I bought with hard work, that I earned with these hands

[Pre-Chorus 1]
Am C (walk the bass note down to play Am again)
These things that I do
Am C D
I do them for you...

[Chorus]
        Em7 Csus2
So just tell me you love me and tell me you'll stay
           G D
And you'll watch over this house while I go away
         Em7 Csus2
And just promise to be here when I get back home
          G D
So we can start where we left off all those years ago
          Csus2 D Em7
Before my demons, they took control
         Csus2 D G
Lost and lonely, out here on the road

G D Em7 Csus2

[Verse 2]
         G D
Well I'm careless and selfish, got no self-respect
       Em7 Csus2
I'm an albatross hangin' around my own neck
      G D
I'm a hard one to handle and I play the fool
        Em7 Csus2
And I'm so hard to love 'cause I break all the rules

[Pre-Chorus 2]
Am C
These things that I do
Am C D
'Cause I couldn't have you...

[Chorus]
        Em7 Csus2
So just tell me you love me and tell me you'll stay
           G D
And you'll watch over this house while I go away
         Em7 Csus2
And just promise to be here when I get back home
          G D
So we can start where we left off all those years ago

Good tabbing! Although I think it should be just D instead of Dsus2. Also Aaron usually plays G chord as 3x0033 and instead of Cadd9 he plays Csus2 = x3x033. 5 stars anyway!

So... I see Aaron Lewis playing it with the Capo on the first fret. And with no capo at all. What's up with that. I always considered using a capo was a way to change keys easily to match a singer's vocal range. This is a serious question.
