Diamond Day is played on two guitars. One guitar repeats a figure the entire song,
whilst the other joins in at times playing two short chords.
This song actually works best with a Capo on 2.
 
Here is the main figure, repeated throughout on one guitar:

The other guitar harmonizes with the first (listen for timing) by alternating between
two chords.
This one is tricky to figure out, but here's my best guess (relative to capo on 2
again). Try upstroking them:

E|----------|
 
Such a lovely song. Looks like Vashti likes to play it down a half-step with the capo on
1 (same relative fingerings) live these days.

I totally messed up my previous comment and it won't let me edit or delete it for some reason so I'm trying it again here: I think instead of a D chord with the C chord shape it should be a Bm with an A chord shape with the second guitar. As everfae mentioned however you can pluck the top three strings to achieve the same effect as two guitars. As a result I think the tab should be: CAPO 2 Bm F#m Bm e|---0---------0---------0---------0-----------------------| B|---1---------0---------1---------0-----------------------| G|-2-2-0-2-0---0---------2---------0-----------------------| D|-----------2---0-2-0-----------------0-------------------| A|---------------------3---0-3-0-----3---------------------| E|-------------------------------3-------------------------|

Thanks so much for the tab! I also noticed that she likes to pluck all 3 top strings at once on the B string note and the fifth G string note like here - https://youtu.be/_yIjIAcODFk?t=73 it sounds rather pretty. :)
