This tab is for the ENTIRE SONG. Every other tab for this song has some major flaws and missing parts, like
for example the kickass solo at the
end. I'm pretty sure that the wah part of the ending solo is the bassist,
but if you just use your neck pickup and crank up the wah it sounds pretty
much the same on guitar.

UPDATED: 5/21/2007 - Fixed the intro tapping part (one triplet lol) and the
ending solo, as discussed in the comments. Also [tried to] fix the display
problems with the repeat brackets, hopefully it works this time.

Damn, some parts got messed up, but I think you can still understand it. I just updated it so hopefully it will be fixed soon.
Anyways, to anyone who actually wants to know how the hell I figured out the solos:
I did this all in Adobe Audition, a very high-tech audio-editing program. It has an option called Center Channel Extractor that removes almost all of the vocals and drums from the center of the song and leaving only the left and right guitars. Pretty cool if you want to figure out almost anything but a solo, because solos are almost always placed in the middle. But luckily you can do the exact opposite and get rid of the left and right guitars to give you the solo (and some drums...). Then I used the equalizer to drown out any drums left over and really emphasize the solo. Then I slowed down the solo to as slow as possible while still being able to distinguish each note. Now, take for example the outro solo. Knowing from previous listening attempts that the solo was 4 measures of triplets (each a 16th note...therefore 24 notes per measure....the harmonic at the end of the 4th measure takes up a whole triplet..), I could divide the total time of those 4 measures by 96 notes, then multiply by 3 for the length of time for one triplet. Then I just selected that interval of time starting from the beginning and played it over and over until I was sure of those 3 notes. Tabbed them out, then moved the interval to the next triplet and listened, and so on. After realizing after the first few notes were an E harmonic minor scale, I knew what scale the solo was played in and made sure every note after that matched that scale (coincidentally, they did). Lastly, I put everything into TabIt (a basic tabbing program, like a simple GuitarPro) and set the tempo so it matched the song exactly. Let's just say I was shocked when I played the tab and the song together; not to brag, but it sounded perfect. Took a while as you may have guessed. I did the same thing for the intro and middle solos, as well as the tapping part of the outro solo because the wah kinda made it hard to decipher.

only thing I could find wrong is the final outro solo with the wah is actually paulo, the baasist, not cory or matt
