Hey Everybody!
When I was listening to this song, I learned it with a D Minor as well. When I saw this tab and tried it with the G7, something didn't sound right. I also looked at the melody in this tab and it's got all of the notes that are found in the D Minor chord.
If you improvise a C major scale over G-Dm-C it works and that also makes a strong case for a Dm chord

The strumming pattern is a chunka-chunka like disco type of quick rhythmic strumming. Please check out the original recording. The Dm would be fine for your own arrangement, but the F is stronger. It is from the same perspective though, as if we are rearranging the song. I have discovered after listening carefully that it is a G7 in the original recording, and I have resubmitted.

I think the F is minor.. F major doesn't sound right to me.
