Hey
this is the Trews Latest song. Sounds pretty close...listen to song to get the actual
pattern. the Intro?verse part without the bass is played through out the whole song.
i said it's pretty close but needs some minor changes

OK... All looks good except the picking pattern in the intro. I figured this which is exact. 1. Both guitars. Fret the 6th high E string at the 3rd fret (G note). Fret the 5th string B at the first fret (C note). 2. Do not fret anything on the 4th string G . Leave it open on both guitars. The base notes are the same as shown in this tab (as above) for guitar two. 3. Now the fun part. The picking pattern. Guitar 1. only the 6, 5, and 3 stings are played with the following pattern: 4, 4, 6, 4, 5, 6, 4, 5, 4, 4, 6, 4, 5, 6, 4, 5. And this pattern repeats. (Note: The 4th string is not fretted! as described in the original tab). 5. So lets have some more fun. Guitar 1 will repeat the above pattern 2 times. Then guitar 2 comes in. When guitar 2 comes in, it will play the same pattern as above but the base note will start in on the second 4. And as the pattern repeats, the base note will always fall on the second 4. I know this seems like overkill but it affects the whole timing of the song - and this is how da bye's play it on all recordings - and its rigth on - and if you want it to sound right, you have to play it like this. So get your face and eyes into it and get at it -its a great song for guitar. Take her easy. If you need help with this, email: normanb15@hotmail.com. The good work of the original poster is appreciated.

Bloody hell.. Just noticed a mistake. I meant to say: 3. For guitar 1 only the 6, 5, and 4 strings are played. But most would have figured the mistake. Go mad!

I'm amazed that the lead singer can play the pattern as above and still sing the song. Real talent. Its bloody hard!
