i think the g#m sounds better as a G# if you’re playing open chords instead of power chords

Great tab. On the album, it matches what's on this tab but on the acoustic version linked in the first comment it is indeed in D instead of E. Overall it's somewhat easier to play in D position, but particularly if you play something similar to the electric version it sounds better with the low E than in D with a capo on 2.
