The Shins - A call to apathity
tab is written by Daniel Vargas Diaz

C
Untie me, I've said no vows
The train is getting way too loud
             F
I gotta leave here my girl
  			C
Get on with my lonely life
			G
Just leave the ring on the rail
			    C
For the wheels to nullify

Until this turn in my head
I let you stay and you paid no rent
I spent twelve long months on the lam
That's enough sitting on the fence
For the fear of breaking dams

Am C
I find a fatal flaw
	F
In the logic of love
	     C G
And go out of my head
Am C
You love a sinking stone
F
That'll never elope
	    C G
So get used to the lonesome
C G
Girl, you must atone some
C G F
Don't leave me no phone number there

It took me all of the year
To put the poison pill to your ear
But now I stand on honest ground
On honest ground
You want to fight for this love
But honey you cannot wrestle a dove
So baby it's clear
You want to jump and dance
But you sat on your hands
And lost your only chance
Go back to your hometown
Get your feet on the ground
And stop floating around

I think the title should read 'A Call To Apathy'. It was the original title to 'Gone For Good' from the album 'Chutes Too Narrow'.

ok you have some issues here.... apathity is not a word apathy is the word. also 'call to apathy' was a tentative title before the band decided on 'Gone for good', no sweat though and its not just C through the verse its C then you switch to C/G every two strums. C/G --- -1- -0- -2- -3- -3-
