I think this sound right as well. I hear just one add to this, and might explain why some think the Cmaj7 is in there. On that transition from C back to Emin in the verses, I hear a start at C6, then Cmaj, then Cmaj7, quickly transitioning to Emin in which the B string is naturally open. All of those cords are fundamentally formed by walking the B string down, starting at D, to C then open B. The timing is pretty hard! Those guys could really jam! Very fast back-and-forth picking on that 12-string.
