There is a capo on the 2nd fret. The F# bass-line is a dead giveaway. This is
clearly the tuning that is used in the recorded version. However, the slide solos
and fills are played on an acoustic in standard without a capo
 
As can be heard with the riff at 0:09, the bass-line isn't constant. It's impossible
to tell for the rest of the song though because of the drums. Many of the parts are
played by strumming the strings (like at 0:34), and it's hard to play a bassline while
strumming. So just use a bass-line at your own discretion. Also, use delays on the
slides to better accentuate the song and Dan's singing, e.g. hit a note let it ring a
moment and then slide.
