Guitar Used (live, at least - and probably on the record:)
1966 Mosrite Ventures Mark V. 24.50" scale length, just shorter than a Gibson or Epiphone.
These have unique pickups to them that you can't find on Fenders and Gibsons.
However, any 24.75" guitar's not too far off at least for string tension.
Guitar Strings Used:
According to Keith Bennett (who worked as Ricky's guitar tech,) the gauges are this weird set, as follows:
.058b, .056, empty, empty, .018p, .018p (p = plain string.)
(the gauges are typed correctly, there is no typo.)
Guitar Amp:
Unknown at this time, though I've heard they used a Mesa Boogie Mark II.
