the E7 should be an E7(9)

My suggestion is to add a better-sounding version of the Gm: add an E note into the chord mix. To my ears, this 'flavored' Gm chord sounds better--as it fits into the Alan Parsons mood they want to create at that moment of the song (I would describe this different Gm chord as bluesy & more poignant than a plain Gm). So, for an example way to make this chord would be: if you were normally playing the Gm chord with an 'E'-shaped barre, take that G note being played on the D string(by your pinky finger) & drop that note down 3 frets to an E note (on that same D string). You'll need to form a different type of a barre chord; the way I do it is to form a 3-string barre with my pinky (barring the G,B,& E strings at 3rd fret),fingering the E note on the D string with my index finger, and finally playing a root G note on the bass E string with my middle finger, while muting the A string (sorry I cannot give you a visual here by creating a chord diagram; I am brand new to posting here on Ultimate Guitar). I think if you try this chord it will sound more like the original A.P.P. studio version & you'll hear the difference--perhaps a subtle one, yet substantial. Not sure of the exact name/number of this minor chord; but it is probably known as a Gm6, due to the addition of that lower E note. Have fun trying it!! Jeffsq
