A long time ago, I put my own chord chart for this song up on the site, I haven't been on here in years and years and just created a new account because I don't at all remember my credentials for the old one. This looks like the one I created but... I don't have a paper copy but I know I put some notes about how to play the song here. Basically, this version can sound almost exactly like the recording if you play with a clip capo with the flat rubber back, turn it around so that back is on your strings, and put them on the second fret covering the 3-5th strings. It should look like this. The number below the frets are what the number are in my chord notations, the number above is the number fret of the fretboard to guide you where to put the capo. 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th etc... H |-B-|------|------|------|------|------|------| |-R-|------|------|------|------|------|------| E |-I-|------|--||--|------|------|------|------| A |-D-|------|--||--|------|------|------|------| |-G-|------|--||--|------|------|------|------| D |-E-|------|------|------|------|------|------| -2 -1 0 1 2 3 4 The chords are the same but there's a few that have some different notes because you have to play with that capo in the way. So the open strings are either going to be two frets back from the capo, or at the capo on the second fret. The weird chords are... D5 D2 D Bm7 F#m7pc and the end of the second verse. D5 : x, x, 0, 2, 3, 5 D2 : x, x, 0, 2, 3,-2 (this you're removing your pinky which opens back past the capo) D : x, x, 0, 2, 3, 2 Bm7 : x, 2, 0, 2, 3,-2 F#m7pc: x, 4, 4, 2,-2,-2 Ending of verse 2: Do Em with your pinky and ring finger, then when you shift up for F#m barre chord for one strum and add your middle finger and shift up one fret to make G major barre chord, and then move back to A2 for one hit and switch to D2 for the chorus. Adding a > mark indicating a staccato, the strum pattern should be like.... > > > | Em-v ^ v ^ Z | v ^ v ^ Z | Em-v F#m-v G-barre-v ^ v ^ z | v ^ v ^ z | A2-v D2... it is and how it should be, yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! I dare you to move... Good luck!
