I vote for Drop C#, I think the low D5(C#5 really) sounds better in the verses.

This song is played with the guitar tuned down a half step and then playing it as if it were in the key of G. although because you tuned it down a half step its a true F# like you have it. But its MUCH easier to play it like its in the key of G after you tune down the guitar a half step.
