Note:

Sting plays the fourth line in Verse 2 in a different way, but I believe
it's just a mistake he made and that this line is supposed to be played like
the ending of Verse 1.

Another difference with the studio version is the fact that this acoustic version is shorter
and is played in a completely different key. This also seems to be a regular jazz pattern.

Thanks for doing this, I think it's pretty much spot on. Although it might work better without open chords as you don't have to mute the open strings then. I think that's how he plays it too if you look at the video. Small correction in Figure 1. He slides to 7, not 6: e --------5-8-5s7-- B ------6---------- G ----7------------ D --0-------------- A ----------------- E ----------------- Also, for the intro he leaves out the 6 on the B string, so: e --------5-8-5s7-- B ----------------- G ----7------------ D --0-------------- A ----------------- E -----------------

Shouldn't line 12 be the same as line 4?

Help on strumming? Not sure if im doing it right . . they way he does it. Is he plucking the bass strings e and a then the g and b strings. like first he plucks a then g and b twice, repeats striking the other bass? Btw, nice job!! been wanting to learn this for a while =)
