Many thanks for this -- super helpful as we attempt to put together a Luminol cover for a folk festival. (Long story. They'll love it.)
I have yet ANOTHER take on the four chords. I think I've got it now. They are C#m7, Dmaj7, and D#m7 twice, but you only play the middle four string (except on the last chord, where you add the top string). So it comes out as:

Which I like, because it's not just an arbitrary sequence of fingers-on-strings, it has some harmonic meaning. In the same the four chords under "The words he sings are not his own. They speak of things he'll never know" are C#m7, Cmaj7, Bm7 and Bbmaj7, again with only the middle four strings sounded.

Thanks everyone for their comments and suggestions, I think I finally nailed the main riff (at least to my ears), just updated the tab to include that and the first solo... which isn't getting updated, hope that gets fixed soon
