I prefer to play the 2nd version of my tab, but I know a lot of guitarist turn their nose up at capos. Either version will sound great but the 2nd also has the advantage of being able to drop the key down a semi-tone to Db, or even a full tone to C, making the vocal range a bit easier for myself. The first version is there for those who don't like capos, and also for keyboard players and bassists to follow along with the original track.
