Intro,D,G,D,G,D,A,G
D G D
Remember how they always seemed to know
              D
We had the forest in our eyes
          G D G
But the earth was in our clothes
                   D G
They thought we'd fall
       D
Not at all

G D G
So look back on the treasured days
         D G
We were young in a world that was so tired
             D G
Though it's not what we wanted before
           D G
Even the saints had to crawl from the floor
 A
And summers when the money was gone, you'd sing

All your little songs

That meant everything to me

     D G
And I'll remember you
           D G
And the things that we used to do
           D G
And the things that we used to say
   D A
I'll remember you
      G
That way

D G D G
Remember how they tried to hold you down
         D
And we climbed those towers
       G D G
And looked out upon our town
       D G
And everything you hope will last
       D G
Just always becomes your past (it hurts)
 A
And summers when the money was gone, you'd sing

All your little songs

That meant everything to me

  D G
And I'll remember you
         D G
And the things that we used to do
          D G
And the things that we used to say
  D A
I'll remember you
   G
Always

  Bm A
 But then how this world
                       D
Slipped through my fingers
G G/F# Em7
And even the sun seemed tired
          A
I still cared
    Bm A
As they lowered you down
                D
My heart just jaded
          G G/F# Em7
In that moment the earth made no sound
               A
But you were there
     Em7 A D C B7 Bb D C B7 Bb
You helped me lift my pain into the air

F#m G
I love you so much, little girl
  A
I miss you
   G/B
I know you are ok
  A C
I always thought that you'd come home

 D G
I'll remember you
         D G
And the things that we used to do
         D G
And the things that we used to say
       D
If it don't hurt you
     G
It won't hurt me
       D
If it don't hurt me
         G
Then it won't hurt you
        D
If it don't hurt you
    A D
It won't hurt me, I know

Great tab! Love this song! One little tip: When playing D in the intro, try doing a pull off with the index finger. This way, it sounds just like the original song!

Such a powerful song, especially that bridge. Thank you for this tab, mate. I will be putting up a couple of Remy songs that I've tabbed out so be sure to check them out. :)

Great chords! Just a small feedback, I would opt to change the B7 to Bm though, sounds better for me :)
