I was able to ask Rocky on Twitter what the chord progression was and you are correct with the C#m (make sure it's the open bar chord) and E. But instead of playing a B5 and A2, it's an open B bar chord and Asus2 and end the song on E. Regarding the strumming pattern, the acoustic performance they did for Radio Disney is very helpful and you can pick up on it very quickly by watching and playing along. Hopefully that helps! :)

to me it sound better with C#m B E A

Use Asus2 instead of A2 it sounds more like the acoustic version when you play it that way.
