yea, but a skilled vocalist would know the key would be higher by a semitone.
I use 2 different guitars, but the one i play the most is tuned down to Eb
I am not a skilled vocalist, so i find it easier to sing along in the lower key

or unless you're going to sing (or have someone sing) along. The notes for the melody will not match up and will clash at points.
