My take for the "mystery" chord for "we got everything goin' on and on" is Bdim7, x2313x (variant = x23131, with first fret barred across the upper 5 strings, which is a slightly easier transition from prior Bb x13331 chord AND to the next F chord 133211). Try it.
An E7/B (xBEG#DE) is close and will do in a pinch, I guess, as it uses three of the four notes in the Bdim7 chord, but there's no E in the Bdim7 (xBFG#Dx) and an E7 has no F, which is important to the voice-leading harmony, which is what dim chords are all about.
You could also use this 2 finger Bdim chord inversion: xx0101. (xxDG#BF)🙂

Also I think take a piece of ME with YOU sounds better with C then C7. better transition into next phrase
