What does the X in the tabs mean? I am just learning the guitar, and starting out on an acoustic; and I'm teaching myself. So I'm still trying to figure everything out, and haven't been able to figure out what these X's mean. For example: On the first line of tablature in the intro under E5, it reads from e-E: 0-0-x-2-2-0. So far when I have been messing around with tablature since I've started(which tabs are all I've messed with, no notes yet) I've just been playing the X as an open chord, but this is the first time that I've had an X directly below a 0(which is what I thought was the symbol for Open?) in the same vertical line of tabs, and now I'm sorta stumped.. Much appreciation to anyone who may be able to help... Thanks ahead of time. Peace.
