A Bm G A
Every dawn you're surprising and the evening was consoling saying, "See, it wasn't quite as bad as"
[Verse 4]
Bm G A
Well it would've been could've been worse than you would ever know

I was patiently erasing and recording the wrong episodes

Bm G A
I just wanted to catch the last laugh of this show
[Verse 5]

Yeah it would've been could've been worse than you would ever know
Bm G A
Oh the dashboard melted, but we still have the radio
Bm
Hardwired to conceive so much we'd have to stow it
G A
even needs have needs, tiny giants made of tinier giants
Bm G A
Don't wear eyelids so I don't miss the last laugh of this sho-o-o-oh
[Verse 6]

I remember going to see Modest Mouse when this album came out with my teenage daughter - I had NO IDEA Johnny Marr was with them! They came out on stage and the guy behind me yelled - "Johnny F'king Marr!". I couldn't believe my luck. I could care less about the rest of the band. JM was awesome!
