Modest Mouse - All Nite Diner
From Interstate 8 / BNooS
Tabbed by: Cory Prusha

There are two guitars here, the rhythm and a slide guitar. I've only tabbed the
rhythm here. These are the pieces, but arranging them is easy enough to do by ear.
I should also have a video up on my youtube channel very soon. Brackets indicate the
first time riffs are played.

This twice, then... this, also twice
x slides sound good coming in from any fret. Go with what's comfortable. This riff is
usually partially muted. For the ghost note, I'm only holding my pinky there. It's
only meant to make it sound better if your strum unintentially goes too far.

I based this tab on what I heard after using the 'reduce vocals' feature of any run-of-the-mill audio editor. I can hear what you mean, though, even after stripping most of the song away using that feature. There are times when the harmonic bit is played and you hear the rhythm bit at the same time, and I just can't see how it would be done on one guitar.

Are you guys serious? You really dont know that Isaac plays one guitar and records over it "3 or 4" times? Most bands do
that.. it just sucks trying to play it all live lol
