For anyone who's interested in a more accurate sound, for the verse, play Cmaj7 and Fmaj7 as barre chords instead of open chords. For the chorus, I find the open chord variant to be better fitted.

for this song, I like to play each chord a little different. I pick a string based on the chord before doing a down strum. These are the chords with the corresponding strings: Cm7= A string Fm7= D string E7= D string Am7= D string D7= D string Am= A sring For E, you don't need to pick bc you strum down once in that part. I do this bc it sounds more like the original
