Gary Rossington is the Skynyrd member that played with Metallica on Tuesday's Gone...
I don't think that Het's voice is better than Van Zandt's. I'm not knockin Jamez in any way, shape, OR form. I LOVE his voice. I do think that Het's voice suits Metallica's version of the song better than Van Zandt's would. It may be the same song, but, not only are they are decades apart, they TOTALLY different styles of music, Metal and Southern Rock. It's like comparing apples and oranges.
It IS a GREAT tune though ;)
